Hi, I’m Taqoya — a Navy veteran, entrepreneur, and someone who has loved cooking for as long as I can remember.

My journey with food actually started back in high school when I began making and selling homemade subs to my classmates. At the time it was just something fun that made a little extra money, but it also showed me how much I enjoyed creating food that people genuinely loved.

After high school, I joined the United States Navy. While serving, I continued building my culinary skills and learned a lot about discipline, attention to detail, and hard work — values that still guide how I cook and run my business today.

During my time in the service, I started developing the idea of creating my own food brand. I’ve always believed food should feel familiar but also exciting, something that brings people together and leaves a lasting impression.

Today I’m continuing that journey as a culinary student, where I’m sharpening my skills and learning new techniques while growing my business at the same time. Every step of this process is helping me become a better chef and entrepreneur.

At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: create great food, keep learning, and share that passion with the community.
